In March 2024, the ALBATROSS project came into being, a Horizon Europe project coordinated by the University of Bologna, dedicated to advancing knowledge for long-term benefits and climate adaptation through holistic climate services and nature-based solutions.

On 12-13-14 March the kick-off meeting was celebrated in Bologna, at the University of Bologna. It was a unique opportunity to discuss workflows, coordinate activities, look for synergies between partners, and agree on cooperation, including stakeholder involvement… All the partners participated very actively, and each one gave their best for the benefit of the project and started its activity properly.

During the three-day kick-off meeting the project consortium of 18 partners, from European and African countries, got to know each other better and got a closer approach to the project. We are all delighted to start working on this exciting area of research.
