On 2-3 April 2025, a workshop will be held in the Kigamboni Hub with local communities, research organizations, and policy actors. The main objective is to identify and start co-creating climate, weather and early-warning services and tools which will be accessible and tailored to the needs of the territory, thus overcoming technical and non-technical barriers to the usability of climate/weather data and information.
In this meeting, Tanzania Meteorology Authority (TMA) will be the key stakeholder with whom the ALBATROSS partners participating in the meeting, namely Ardhi University, UNIBO, KAJO and FMI, will work hand in hand. The aim is to collect the impacts of some severe weather phenomena and define a work plan for their scientific analysis.
