The Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches Economiques pour le développement /Centre for Economic Studies and Research for Development (CERED) is based at the University of Antananarivo. A key focus in CERED’s education and research activities is focused on identifying and addressing disaster risk issues which affect Madagascar. This is the first academic research centre working specifically on the social, economic and financial aspects of Disaster Risk Reduction and Disaster Risk Management in the country.

- Leader of the value chain assessment of services and tools developed by ALBATROSS in WP5
- CERED is also involved in WP2, WP3
